Grrr

Ok, I wrote a nice long blog but it seems to be gone. Maybe I should have tested this before I spent all that time and effort. Irritated and tired, I am going to bed. Maybe I will attempt another post tomorrow. BlogBooster-The most productive way for mobile blogging. BlogBooster is a multi-service blog editor for iPhone, Android, WebOs and your desktop

Mere Comfort: YARN YARN YARN

I love yarn. Love it. Enjoy all the colors and textures and just the idea of it. I have many projects to do but it is my Magnum Opus that I have on my mind lately. My Magnum Opus being the Doctor Who Scarf. With David Tennant's Doctor passing recently I have been thinking about my first Doctor. Of course my first was Tom Baker. Yes, I know, I am quite young for him to be my first. Some would think maybe Sylvester McCoy would be the first being that he was more "my time" but I honestly haven't seen any of his episodes. I would love to, but have never come across any. Same goes for Colin Baker and Pat Troughton. Moving on. Where was I? Oh yes, The Scarf. Before David Tennant, Tom Baker's Doctor was the most widely know Doctor and The Scarf was/is an icon. I mean just look at it! It's freaking gorgeous! My problem, though, was acquiring the necessary yarn for said Magnum Opus. But I just discovered another DW Scarf site that gives other yarn options that doctorwhoscarf.com did not use. The yarn he used is mostly no longer available, or not in the amount needed. What is wonderful about that is I may be able to begin my Magnum Opus soon!!!! Oh happy day!!! ;)

On another note, I am the proud mother of a 6 1/2 month old who is crawling and pulling up. He is the greatest part of my life and I wouldn't trade him for anything in the world! ^_^
